An accurate piano appraisal is a carefully researched fair market value of a piano in its present condition which can help prevent you from selling your piano for too little, paying too much, or for tax or insurance purposes.

Often, John can provide you with information right over the phone.  There are several online services that can provide you with a quick and inexpensive ballpark guide to a piano's value.  Of course, the most accurate method to determine a piano's value is to have a qualified piano technician perform a professional assessment.

Piano Evaluation:  A piano evaluation is a condition report which includes a detailed inspection of the piano.  An evaluation is useful in determining if your piano is worth the cost of restoration.  It is also useful in determining whether or not the piano you are about to purchase is a good used piano - like taking a used car to your mechanic for inspection before purchasing.

A piano evaluation can only be done on site by a qualified piano technician with the proper experience and tools.  John's piano evaluation consists of a very detailed checklist which covers almost every technical aspect of the piano.
